This is the website of David Sellars, writer and traveller.
I have two short stories in print and my first full-length novel 'Quietus' was released in July 2015. Quietus has been number one in both Japan and Germany, and number three in the UK download charts.
I also write a regular blog and work as a freelance writer. My lastest projects have involved writing for an Unofficial Orlando Guide and blogging on SEO techniques.
I have edited many pieces of fiction and written copy for magazine articles, marketing material and social media.
I have many years experience as a professional fiction writer, commercial writer, editor, proofreader and copywriter with knowledge of SEO, branding and research.
I have a Masters Degree in Professional Writing from University College Falmouth, to add to my Sociology with Sport, Recreation and Leisure Management Degree, Tourism Marketing Diploma, Diploma in Photography and Diploma in Social Media Marketing and Online Reputation Management.
I currently work as a Web Content Strategist for the local Government, and previously worked as Web Editor for the official Jersey Tourism website. In this role I edited and proof read the magazines pureJersey and stayJersey and managed PR for the UK, Dutch and German markets while also being involved in Sports Marketing.
Genres include dark romance, horror, thrillers, crime, writing for web, fairy tales, travel, articles, writing for children and comedy.
To write whilst travelling is a constant aspiration.
